Some young adults want independence from their parents as soon as possible. Other young adults prefer to live with their families for a longer time. Which of these situations do you think is better?

Some people thinks that youth should stay in their parent's houses. Personally, I see that independence is better. I feel this way due several reasons that I will explain in the following paragraphs. The first reason is that independence will arise some values to the humans being. These values he would never gain except when facing the hard life alone. Appreciation is one of those values. He would gain appreciation as a result of living alone. He would miss little thing that was in his old home. To illustrate, when he was with his parent, he could buy whatever he wants whenever he wants. Moreover, He would leave all light turned on, not worrying about the electric bill. He would waste toothpaste every morning. But, while living alone, he turns off the lights, uses a little tootpaste, and buys only the essentials. Consequently, he will appreciate his parents for tolerating him all those years. Secondly, Responsibility is gained as being on your own. When the person lives alone, he becomes responsible for his clothes, time, decisions, and most importanly his spendings. For example, I had a friend in high school who was irresponsable and nobody would trust him in doing a favour. After seven years, I met him. He was a businessman, a husband, and a father of two children. I asked him about this signficant change. He told me that his parents have kicked him out of their house. He was homeless for a while and couldn't find food to eat. So, he worked as a waiter for a year. Then, he invested some of his earning in stock market. He became rich. After that, he was responsable for a business. Then, He got married and now he have 2 kids. To sum up, I feel that living alone is better because of two reasons. The first one is it would help in gaining apprecietion to others. The other reason is helping in building up the reponsability of a human being.
