Average annual expenditures on cell phone and residential phone services

From 2001 to 2010, the annual expenditures on cell phone and residential phone services has made significant changes. In 2001, cell phone services had the value of 200 dollars, while residential phone services had $700. As time passed, it is possible to notice a decrease of residential phone services and an increase in cell phone services. In the first half of 2006, both had the price of around 530 dollars, but later on each had taken different directions. Cell phone services has increased significantly and residential phone services have decreased. In 2010, the price of cell phone services were nearly 750 dollars. Meanwhile, the price of residential phone services were 400 dollars. Overall, it is noticeable that there has been an increase of the use of cell phone services and a decrease of the use of residential phone services between the years of 2001 and 2010. Additionally, it is pertinent to mention that the year of 2006 made significant change in the behavior of people due to the drastic turn of cell phone and residential phone services.
