An increasing number of larger shpping areas, malls and department stores are leading to the decline of smaller corner shops. What are the adventages and disadvantages of shopping in larger shopping centers rather than smaller, more traditional shops? 2AABX
Over the last decades, in this urban areas, more and more shopping malls, stores and larger department shops have lead to the decline of the small shops on the street corner. The pros and the cons of purchase produces in larger malls than in smaller, more traditional stores. On the one hand, a primary strength is the availability of jobs for the masses provided by huge metropolitan stores. These supermarkets create job openings for a variety of positions and hire as many people as possible, creating revenue for the country through tax payments and reducing the number of unemployed graduates in the country. To give you an example, Shoprite, a Nigerian retailer, employs over 30, 000 people across the country. However, these stores have paved the way for technical innovation in the payment industry. Modern supermarkets employ technology such as point-of-sale (POS) systems to track purchases, allowing customers to shop more easily while avoiding the burden of carrying large amounts of money. Roadside vendors, on the other side, can allow a salesperson who handles the entire store, and customers are expected to pay cash. As a result, the described benefits depict a positive and welcome trend. Malls have a plenty of negative effects, including taking up a multifarious space, increasing crowding, traffic congestion, and pollution. Most mega mall owners are unconcerned about environmental consequences; they consume MW-level electricity and rely on fuel generators rather than environmentally favorable solar panels. Customers who buy from traditional stores must pay a little amount of vat or no vat because the government keeps the highest rate of vat on mega mall items. Typically, a metropolitan region has a restricted number of superstores; city people may confront a distance barrier to emergency access, such as medical supplies, children's foods, and essential housekeeping products. To sum up, I believe that the best option for a client is a mega mall or a general store, depending on the circumstances, hours, places, and financial circumstances of the customer. Local shops are always preferred and more advantageous if a buyer requires some things at midnight or needs to budget buy. Mega superstores are the ideal places to go for things like festival shopping.
