it's very hard to be a doctor nowadays RbbaG
Some people think that it's very hard to be a doctor nowadays, while others disagree and have some sense that becoming a doctor is not that hard. People are individuals, consequently they have different opinions about each subject. Personally, I fully agree with this point and I would like to address some evidence to substantiate my point of view.
To begin with, this profession generally requires a long, arduous, expensive process that can only be accomplished with great dedication. Most people realize that being a doctor is difficult yet rewarding. The moment a person comes to know that you are a doctor, a respect for the person is generated. So, I think that it's worth it to work hard and spend years studying to save lives and deserve this kind of love.
Also, doctors face the hardest decisions every day. Nowadays, COVID-19 changed everything. It caused millions of deaths in the world wide. Doctors put their lives a risk by working with ill patients. The virus might be spread while communicating with patients. To prevent infection, they are equipped with a variety of masks. It's exhausting to be like this day and night. We should not forget that it is their job and they have to help others no matter what.
Second, performing surgery on a patient is also the most difficult part of being a doctor. A single mistake can be fatal. This is why they have to plan everything and do their work properly.
Eventually, while doctors medical knowledge grows, there are a lot of professional and emotional pains in the process. They see people die for the first time, and they will have to declare them in front of families. They will have to perform chest compressions and diagnose people with fatal conditions. Giving bad news is something that never gets easier. It is a difficult job.
Finally, we all must admit that this is a profession that is hard and full of risks.
All said and done, medicine remains the only profession that alleviates pain, heals and cures mankind. Without doctors, the human race would have long ago become extinct due to epidemics and infections.
