An experimental flu vaccine was trialled in a large country town on females only. mD0lN
The provided graph and bar chart depict the number of flu-infected cases in both sexes from February 1996 to the end of year and death counts over a 6-month period in the same year respectively, whereas the given pie chart compares female vaccine-receivers in terms of numerous groups. Overall, along with the outburst of the disease, its cases and consequent deaths witnessed an upward trend and in addition, women were vaccinated almost equally. First and foremost, it is visible from the graph that the outbreak of flu started in February, whose figures of the infected then soared and reached their peaks in June with 3, 500 cases in males and marginally above 2, 500 in women, before declining and plateauing at 2, 500 and 1, 500 cases, respectively, in men and their counterparts for the rest of the year. Additionally, looking at the bar chart, there were 4 people in the latter gender who died in the 3-month span starting from June, which was twice as high as the statistics in males and four times higher than it had been in the previous period. Moreover, according to the pie chart, the feminine elderly received the largest amount of vaccines as they cover 35% of the total. In contrast, those who had been treated in the hospital accounted for 13%, which was approximately three times lower than the aged. Lastly, girls who were still babies or juveniles and those who had not been vaccinated took up 24% and 28%, respectively.
