The pie charts demonstrate the statistics about publications that are used weekly among students and assistant lecturers at one of the Australian universities. Overall, most of the all students are not interested in reading journal articles. In comparison, majority of PhD students are active readers of such publications and read at least twelve articles. For junior lecturers, the most noticeable trend is that they read 6-11 articles per week. In detail, from 1 to 5 articles takes the largest percentage among all students, whereas among PhD students this figure is one twenty. Meanwhile, only 1% of teachers read the articles at this number. Four-fifths of PhD students read more 12 articles per week, while almost a quarter of lecturers read in the same number. However, only 12 % of all students read more than 12 articles. Furthermore, a substantial part of junior lecturers at three-quarters read between 6 to 11 journal. In contrast, 6 to 11 publications are read by 21% of all students which is 6% higher than PhD students.
