Into the pitch black cave, I scurried along the rocky terrain. A foul odour hung above the cave. It was only the beginning of the unpleasant trip. Even though I had already been exposed to extreme cold and heat, my bruised hands were shivering from the freezing temperatures. My hands were turning numb now, being in temperatures below zero isn’t that good for you. I trudged over to a nearby rock and sat down as I slurped the last drop of water… Drip! Drip!
It's not clear where this trip will take me, but I hope it will be a good one. Despite my inability to find my way out, I was put in this cave due to my unrivalled skill at finding my way in. Neither my whereabouts nor why I am here were explained to me.
As soon as my last drop of water had been consumed, I knew I had no source of water left. It was vital that I survived and I did not intend to get exhausted or faint. For me, my mission was crucial. I stumbled over and over, the cave was pitch dark and I couldn't see anything…not even with my night vision goggles. It was darker than dark. The slightest flicker of light finally appeared after what seemed like 3 hours. With joy and happiness in my heart, I raced ahead. . . and out through a diamond exit.
My body was overwhelmed with peace. This trip had a good ending after all!
