Nowadays, we are bombarded with advertisements through  social media, email, and TV. While some people belive that they can exert an enormous influence on an insidivial decision, others think they are not effective anymore. Personal I think they can still motivate people to purchase new products. Some  people argue that adverts can persuade people to buy new items. Firstly it can happen when companies use  celebrities and well-known persons   in their advertisements.   Many fans that because of their passion toward them,   will buy that products. For instance, when a renowned footbalist like Ronaldo advertise a brand like Nike, many teenagers, who are advocate of him, have a tendency to follow him, and highly likely will buy  from that brand. Furthermore, some advertisements, informe us about latest products in the market.   Many of them provide useful information to make informed decision. For example, Ikea, which sells household appliances, sends a brosure for the customers in an effort to  inform them about brand new equioment. Consequently, people who want to modernize their house entice to visit  there. On the other hand, there are some people who argue that advs are too common and nobody pay attention to them anymore. They  ignore them because they know that companies just want to sell their products, and they use famous people in order to rise their stock share. Many manufacturer such as Pepsi use some acters and singers and spend a vast amount of money to persuade people. However, everyone knows that that is unhealthy and should avoid drinking it. Besides. If people want to buy a products, they can search on the Internet and get valuable information. Thus, there is no need for advertsment, and they are merely irritating. In conclusion, for some people advertisements are meaningless and they try to neglect them. I believe advertisements  can still be motivating for some people.
