Over the past few decades, environmental aspects and physical health issues have always been a great deal of concern among individuals and organizations. A school of thought holds that one of the main factors contributing to such negative impacts comes from the expanding use of automobiles. Personally, I can entirely agree with this idea, and my points of view will be explained in the following essay.
There are some severe influences to the climate change when numerous cars are used for commuting on a daily basis. First and foremost, the amount of carbon dioxide emission released from cars is too huge to deplete the ozone layer, leading to global warming and leaving serious consequences for human beings as well as nature. Various researches show that the ozone layer is in danger, and it is in need of reducing the use of cars or private automobiles. Furthermore, because of global heating, glacier and sea ice are in deep water. A number of scientists and researchers complain that many glaciers in the world have been rapidly melting. One of the main roots of this phenomenon is the exhaust car system, raising the higher temperature. As the results, the air temperatures will continue to raise rapidly and many wildlife animals will lose their natural habitats if sea ice melts.
It is quite straightforward to explain how people are harmfully affected by toxic emitted from automobiles. One of the most important problems is that more people will be likely to suffer from respiratory diseases such as lung cancer. It is obvious that people may become ill or have their lung damaged as they inhale the fumes of cars when commuting on the street. Another detrimental effect is that people may feel uncomfortable or inconvenient when the large number of cars are in range on the road. In fact, it is very hard for them to go travelling, especially at peak hours. Therefore, they may drip with sweat in hot weather and waste much time and energy.
In conclusion, cars pose a variety of challenge to global warming and people’s physical health and well-being. Thus, each person and the governmental authorities should take possible actions to prevent the high temperature all over the world.
