There are four main reasons why abortion should be non-compulsory for women. Initially, as human beings, we should respect an individual's over their bodies for sexual relations, marriage, and of course reproductive rights. Wherever they live, whoever they are, women have this right to make decisions without brutality, fright, or compulsion, as feminists believe "my body my choice". No matter what the consequences are, the decision of aborting a fetus should be left to individual women, and abortion care should be at their disposal. Secondly, a peer-reviewed study has compared the mental health of women who had an abortion to women denied an abortion for unintended pregnancy, discovered that the second group felt more anguish and anger mingled with less tranquility and joyfulness than the first group. Apart from this, the same study ascertained that almost one week after the surgery, 95% of those who had an abortion perceived they made the right decision. Thirdly, abortion gives pregnant women the opportunity to reject a full-fledged fetus with perilous abnormalities for instance anencephaly, Down syndrome, or Edwards' syndrome. Lastly, the research published in the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology found that less than a quarter of abortions leads to serious health complications. Lasting health issues such as cancer and infertility are not caused by modern abortion procedures. It is one of the safest medical procedures of all. Admittedly, there are two completely different viewpoints about abortion. First, supporting a woman’s right to have an abortion. Second, not supporting it.
