In twenty-first century, technological innovations have changed many people's lives. With many advancement in technologies, many of them like airplane, telephone and so on, become a vital part of our societies and they totally transform our lives. Personally, I believe in all of them, the most amazing and modern invention is computer and internet. Every computer has internet facility that means everything can be done by sitting at home. I feel this way for two reasons, which I will explore in the following essay. To begin with without any doubts, the computers have changed the way in which nations interact in a global society. The every day technology is an internet, which is used as world wide web service, and by the absence of this many services become disabled. By the never-ending growth of information technology, a great way of communication came into people's lives is e-mails, voice mails and voice over internet. My personal example is a best illustration of this. prior to wide spread use of computer and internet, my father told me a letter from US would take a week for delivery. At that time, the delivery cost was almost 10 dollars and the same amount of money would buy a groceries for a family for one week. Now mail can be delieverd instantly at virtually no cost through electronic mail. Voice chatting and web cam chatting are two services that are provided after the invention of e-mails. Another miracle way of international communication is teleconferencing, participants from many countries can meet at local sites and connect to central conference facility through satellite. They can see each other on large screens and interact with each other from multiple sites around the world. Many internet shopping, advertisement and virtual companies use internet as a base to reach their commercial aims. Furthermore, internet play a critical role in educational setups and in different companies. Many companies and universities announce their job or study vacancy over the internet. Also, some universities enrollement procedure is only done by internet based application form. Moreover, in students life internet play crucial role by helping them in finding books, research articles and journals. They do not need to find alternative, since all of these materials are available online. For instance, as we see in recent pandemic years all educational institutes were closed for saftey purposes but students studies were not affected because of internet. Teachers started online classes by which one year of every student was saved. In conclusion, I believe computer and internet as the greatest innovation of twenty first century as they have changed the human life style.
