A lot of people who wanted to become professional athletes gave up this idea because of the fear of failure and parents' pressure. Do you think that parents should support their children who want to do a career in sports?

In the old days being an athlete is arguably has no future but nowadays there are a lot of youngsters who are chasing to be an athlete and because of that this essay totally agrees with the topic because becoming a professional sportsman could insure the future of many children.
There are several advantages to being an athlete. Firstly, being an athlete is a very beneficial job for everyone in the society, because becoming an athlete makes their country go international and they could make their country proud. Secondly, being an athlete could entertain a lot of people, since all of us know sports has a very big community behind it and it has a ton of loyal fans. With the benefits I mentioned before of course being an athlete pays off and a lot of athletes got very high wages and a lot of bonuses
On the other hand, there are some downsides to being an athlete. And the first one is, in most undeveloped countries they don’t support their athletes like in wealthier county such as America, they don’t support their athletes with good facilities and financial stability. Besides that, in some countries being an athlete they don’t get the nutrition that they need and the food that they require. Because of that most athletes in the undeveloped country cannot compete with other athletes with better facilities and some other privileges.
To summarise, being an athlete is not always a good thing, you have to know the fundamentals and you have to know the risk your taking. All in all, being a parent you have to guide your loved ones instead of forcing them to stop what they love doing, that’s why I agree.
