Supporting poor countries with money may not be enough because there is demand for another ways. Of course, not only money may solve all issues.

Firstly, the thing that could help to the poor is education. Because clever ideas are more expensive and easy to do, in order to overcome some uncomfortabilities. It can be seen in such countries like Singapore where none natural resources but education ranking is good. And this country is not poor because they their education.
Another way to help to poor countries is exchanging medical information between health staffs. For instance, in Africa, where 'Ebola virus ' came into existence, many virusologists who come from another countries, worked on the treatment for viruses. So it may be good whether they help each other in difficult moments.
And agricultural innovations may be effective also, as a result production may meet the demand for food. It can be seen in researching on new, highly resistant species and preventing soil erosion what might decrease the capable areas to grow up plants. For example about thousands of volunteers are trying for Aral see to be significant place for shipping and fishing like in long times before.
To conclude, only money may not be as efficient as others like educational, medical or agricultural. So human population should help each other whatever they can in many ways.
