Gender equality has not been achieved in our society. Women still do not have the same rights and opportunities as men. To what extend do you agree or disagree?

Gender equality is the very common issue we have been absorbing in our society. I strongly agree that in some areas or fields women are still in this modern era not supported and encouraged as much as men. Gender equality has not been achieved in our society. Women still do not have the same rights and opportunities as men. In the fields like mechanical engineering for example, people in the society says that women is not fit for those kind of hard roles. They discourage and try to change the thoughts and mind set of that women. Society does not give the freedom for the women to do what ever she wanted to do as they allow for men. In some places like Bihar which is located in India, still in this 21st centaury women are not encouraged to do jobs and are not supported for their education as they does for men. People are precarious about a married women doing jobs, as they believe women does not need to do jobs they just have to take care of homes. In the education sector both the girls and boys can achieve same achievements if the girls are supported as much as boys. In may countries women are not allowed to be nominated for the political representatives for many decades and still we are facing this problem. Although the women are able to live in that society, it would be unequal in opportunities between gender which makes female to male ratio is not balance. In conclusion, it is not easy for women to obtain education and pursue their career in some fields. Therefore, women are not having the same rights and opportunities as men.
