writing a notice of extended delivery time for shipment

We truly appreciate your great support and thanks for your continuous orders. Nevertheless, it is with much disappointment we are obliged to amend our terms of delivery of the contract for the supply of 90 pcs Night Vision Goggles - Model: AI/PVS-7E1600 (WP) to the MoPS of Vietnam with an extension of ninety (90) days due to force majeure reasons. We sincerely apologize for the delays of the above shipment. The ongoing Russian-Ukraine military conflicts have led to a number of negative effects to the global. The trade between several countries experienced extreme challenges such as stoppage of goods, climbing costs, scarcered spare parts as well as components for the production of the Night vision goggles Gen 3 in particular. Beside limitations, in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, a series of sanctions were imposed against Russia, which poses a great obstacle to the transportation of an important component from Russia to our factory. Therefore, the spare part vendor has not yet received confirmation from any forwarders that are willing to take charge of the shipment, although they made all their efforts to find reliable carriers. Hence, we estimate it will take about 90 days in addition until the full shipment is delivered to you. We are hopeful to receive your understanding and will try our best to handle the issue as soon as possible.
