why is acute care important? 80Kjk
Good morning everyone I am shshad aloudah and I am here today to talk about why is acute care important so first let me explain to you what is acute care as we all know acute care is a quick and short term medical care that is determined by hospitals or ambulances for patients who have a severe illness and the services are provided by teams of health professionals from different medical and surgical specialties. and now I will give some examples of how acute care works. so if a patient had a gunshot wound he won't be accepted in primary care because it's a situation that needs to be dealt with fast so he will be accepted in the acute care department. second example If a person goes into cardiac arrest, who will come to him first. Paramedics right? From here, the paramedics' job will begin to rescue the injured person and make sure that the patient's condition is stable before arriving at the hospital. so they are more like pre-hospital emergency care. Let us not forget that every department in the hospital faces some problems but there are always solutions for them. and some problems faces the acute care are, the Overcrowded because of treating all kinds of patients in one department. or as we call it patient flow in my opinion the solution for this problem is to train some nurses and paramedics to handle some situations in the same spot. and the second problem is the Staff shortage which leads to poor service for the patient. which I think the best solution is to hire temporary staff which will improve medical and overall care delivery that will improve the patient's psychological state. so again from what you've just listened to. why is acute care important? because it plays a vital role in the prevention of death and disability. so it is more like the backbone of health care.
Good
morning everyone I am
shshad
aloudah and
I am here
today
to talk about why is
acute
care
important
so
first
let
me
explain
to you what is
acute
care
as we all know
acute
care
is a quick and short term medical
care
that
is determined
by hospitals or ambulances for
patients
who have a severe illness and the services
are provided
by teams of health professionals from
different
medical and surgical specialties.
and
now
I will give
some
examples of how
acute
care
works.
so
if a
patient
had a gunshot wound he won't be
accepted
in primary
care
because
it's a situation that needs to
be dealt
with
fast
so
he will be
accepted
in the
acute
care
department.
second
example If a person goes into cardiac arrest, who will
come
to him
first
. Paramedics right? From here, the paramedics' job will
begin
to rescue the injured person and
make
sure that the patient's condition is stable
before
arriving at the hospital.
so
they are more like
pre-hospital
emergency
care
.
Let
us not forget that every department in the hospital faces
some
problems
but
there are always solutions for them.
and
some
problems
faces the
acute
care
are, the Overcrowded
because
of treating all kinds of
patients
in one department.
or
as we call it
patient
flow in my opinion the solution for this
problem
is to train
some
nurses and paramedics to handle
some
situations in the same spot.
and
the second
problem
is the Staff shortage which leads to poor service for the
patient
.
which
I
think
the best solution is to hire temporary staff which will
improve
medical and
overall
care
delivery that will
improve
the patient's psychological state.
so
again from what you've
just
listened to. why is
acute
care
important
?
because
it plays a vital role in the prevention of death and disability.
so
it is more like the backbone of health
care
.
