To begin with, I work as a Software Engineer, where my responsibilities include developing automation, libraries, and modules to enhance the organization’s infra security. Being an IT employee, I am endowed with a huge salary, which most people of my age still struggle to get, and a great work-life balance. However, there are a couple of other disadvantages that most people face today while working in the IT industry, which is stress and insufficient physical activity. Additionally, IT people need to work during weekends at times when needed. Moreover, we pay the huge cost in form of hair loss, health deprivation, and less family time. To summarize, I would say the IT job is not that satisfactory in comparison to other non-technical jobs, though it pays off well.
