Managers are seeking various methods to improve staff incentives since high salaries becoming less relevant. This essay will present a unique way to encourage employees. With the advancement of technologies, people have become reluctantly in doing manual, heavy jobs. The overwhelming majority opt to work in which they can relish as well as paid well. It appears impossible, however, if employers alter the purpose of payment, to put more precisely pay for leisure time rather than work, this will enhance staff efficiency. This fact attested by Henry Ford, who is one of the most prominent entrepreneurs in history. At the enterprise of Henry Ford were workers who earn for their rest. These employees were repairmen who were responsible for the smooth operation of the conveyor. They were paid for the time spent in the break room. In case the conveyor showed malfunction, the counter that charges money stopped. They always did the repairs quickly and efficiently so they could get back to the break room as soon as possible. Quick repairs to the equipment significantly increased the production as a result, profit margins for the entire plant increased. The suggested method is efficient for several reasons. First, a combination of money and recreation stimulates people to complete the task quickly. Secondly, quality is assured since workers concentrate on the maximum, so they do not have to redo things. In this way, quick results are ensured, and workers enjoy their job, so this form of motivation is beneficial to both the employer and the employee.
