The line graph shows unemployment status in rural areas and urban areas as a percentage in Australia in 2012 and this situation is divided four quarters in a year.
Overall, both rural areas and urban areas unemployment rates followed the opposite trend in all four quarters. The rural areas had the highest unemployment rate at the starting of the year2012. On the other hand, it was totally opposite for city areas.
According to the illustration, the rate was peaked at 6. 6 % at the beginning of 2012. Further, it was dipped above 4% between the second and third quarters. It fluctuated until last quarter and remained steady after that.
However, the unemployment further, significantly fell down merely above 2% at the beginning of 2012. after that, it was immensely increased in the second phase at 4%. There was a significant decrease in the unemployment rate in the third quarter. Moreover, between third and fourth quarters it t was similar as in second quarter. In addition, it rose at 5% after Fourth quarter.
