(Mansouri Amir 2019) in the fifth Yasht Avesta states that the ceremony of one of the prayers called "Aban Niayesh" was held next to streams, wool and waterfalls (Afifi 1383, 402), water in Persian literature and its symbolic meaning can be summarized in three main themes: spring of life, means of cultivation And the center of life again (Sajjadi 1370, 1)
In dry and hot parts of Iran, where surface water could not be counted with, Iranian people tried extracting and flowing hidden water in the layers of the ground through to the subterranean channels. Qanats lead water from mountains to villages, fields and gardens. (Haghshenas 2014, Fekete Albert 2015) 84/30, therefore, Iranian gardens are so dependent on water that from the place of formation of the garden to its geometry is affected by this element of living water. The flow of water, aside from its functional role, plays a key role in providing coolness, reflecting the glare of sun and pleasant sounds(Mansouri Amir 2019), As important features of the water system in the garden are (Behnam Nia 2017):
• entering the garden on one side and exiting on the other.
• starting at a point inside and spreading in the garden.
• Creating diversity with different forms of water, especially in desert areas
• Water is used inside the building to create cold and humidity
• including a main axis and sub-axes perpendicular to it to create water circulation in the garden.
