The table manifests data about an approximate number of hours spent by the men and women of three countries in Europe by 2002. The work had done either full-time or part-time.
Overall, it can be seen that, both the men and women had spent more number of hours in full-time work as compared to the part-time work.
The average hours utilized by the women of Greece and the UK in full time was 39. 9, whereas men of both the countries spent slightly greater than women which accounted for 42. 5 and 37. 5 hours respectively. Following this, men and women in the Netherlands experienced the same contribution in working hours which was 38 hours.
On the other hand, women who had been doing part-time jobs in Greece and Netherlands accounted for 29. 2 hours approximately while working hours of men were more by just one hour. The UK experienced nearly the same working hours pattern in between men and women which was nearly about 28 hours. European average of full-time men was gradually higher than women whilst in part-time, it was slightly lesser than the women.
