If you had to kill someone, and believed they deserved it, could you do it?
He did a good thing by not killing and not losing his job. Because he’s a great man and loves his job. He was very scared because he did not want consequences. Also, he wouldn’t like anyone coming in his shop to say they don’t want him to shave them because they’re afraid of him. In “Lather and Nothing Else the barber faces the challenge of shaving the enemy, a cruel captain. After, he reflects on all the terrible things the Captain has done. Captain Torres goes into the barbershop to get a shave and the barber contemplates on murdering the captain he doesn’t follow through with his plan. “But I’m shaking like regular murder from his throat a stream if blood would flow in the street, over chair down on my hands.
