The diagram shows the steps involved in making a violin by hand. Overall, it explains the process, starting with a raw material and in the end giving the complete product. The first part of the process involves cutting a thin piece of wood into the shape of a violin using a saw. After we are done cutting, we get a front and a back part of the violin of which the front part is then sent for making the f-hole. A cutting tool is used to precisely make the f-hole, and then a bass bar is attached to the front part using glue. Once this is done, unshaped rib strips are taken and a heating tool is used to give them proper shape. These shaped ribs are attached to the back part of the violin, and then the front part is attached to the ribs, all this is done with the help of glue. After the body of the violin is complete, the upper part of the violin containing the scroll and the neck is assembled. After attaching the neck to the main body of the violin, the next step is to assemble the additional parts, like the strings and the screws. Once everything is put together we get the complete product.
