Spending rates of householding pattern

The chart given below illustrates the average household spending pattern for households in terms of three income levels. We can also see the rate of household spending as a percentage in this chart. Housing spending rates have almost the same percentage in three income levels. We can see the same situation in eating out and clothing expenses. As the income level increases, the rate of food (at home) and utilities expenditures decreases inversely. Spending rate of transport in high income level lower than at both low income and medium income levels. Health outgoings have a higher rate at lower income level. According to the chart, people with higher incomes spend more on education. In the same way, high income people spend more on retirement savings. Entertainment spending rates have close percentage in three income levels. In total, at low income level, the highest expenditure item is housing, while the lower expenditure item is education. Likewise, at high income level, the highest expenditure is on housing. On the other hand, the lower spending is eating out at high income level. As for medium income level, the higher spending item is housing, while the lower item is education.
