Whereas there were not much life coaches and motivational speakers before, many people nowadays make a living out of these jobs whose main purpose is to ensure society’s emotional well-being. However, there is also a noteworthy argument that supports the opposing side. Individuals are becoming more independent. As proof of this, there has been a surge on the population of people leaving their countries and families. Whether the purpose is to acquire a higher level of education or to experience better employment opportunities, individuals move overseas and live alone. The absence of family members, friends, and familiar faces allow people to foster a more self-reliant mindset, resulting to individuals who have a more sense of independence.
