Opinions are divided on whether the best way for the future career of young people is to study in a college before or find work promptly instead of learning in a university in order to gain more work experience. As far as I am concerned, although working experience is extremely crucial, students are supposed to gain a diploma in the university first. There are two reasons the schoolwork in university could prompt people’s future careers. Firstly, in overwhelming occupations, only when you have obtained a diploma, you might own an opportunity to take an interview. This is because diploma regulations are existing in most work settings when people recruit. For example, the interviewers will attention to people’s educational background first, and judge if they are capable of this job. Secondly, the abundant resources in the university would help students find their desired occupations, and give them sufficient time to consider. Because most professors in college tend to harbor more experience and are apt to excavate students’ potential. In addition, undergraduates could also explore themselves amply in the buffer period before they devote themselves to work and find more adaptable work. Thereby, university days are significantly contributing to the future career of students. On the other hand, someone argues that students should get into the work field without learning in the university. Owing to the fact that working experience tends to be more crucial when their search a new job, especially to some technical occupations which not such emphse education background, such as computer programmer, actor, fixed worker, etc. A computer programmer, for instance, if he owns excellent education background, however, some simple error always appears in his code, most companies will give him a pink slip. This is why plenty of so-called experts encourage senior high school graduates who are glad to be superior in their latter careers not to learn in the university, obtain work experience by finding jobs immediately, instead. Personally, I strongly believe that the best method for young students to do well in their later careers is to study in college first. Although working experience is urgent when people find a new job, in the long term, studying at the university or college before you find a job could give you more occupation selections and thinking time about your career.
