In this contemporary era, some people claim that online education is favourable for children. I strongly advocate this statement. The advantages of this trend clearly outweigh its disadvantages. This essay discusses the facts to support the stated opinion.
To begin with, the online mode of education has lot of merits than demerits. Firstly, online education is more affordable and comparitively cheaper than other modes of education. While under the normal education system, students need extra expense such as transportation, text books, bags and many more. Online education charges only for tution and additional essential expenses. For instance, the educational institutions charge additional amount in facilities such as gyms, libraries and swimming pools.
Secondly, online learning helps students accessibility. The students can study from home or any other place in the world. For instance, during this pandemic season online education is suitable and all education system follow this system. Moreover, students can study at any time, even at midnight. Therefore, it increases the academic performance of students. There is no need to wait for office hours and easily access them through internet.
However, online education has some drawbacks. The excess usage of computer and mobile phones causes many health problems in students. For example, it should be noted that recent studies by the times of india show that eye related problems escalating among students. Continous usage creates stress to eyes.
To recapitulate, online education is affordable and convenient for students. Moreover, it helps to improve academic performance of children.
