Some countries achieve international sporting success by building specialized facilities to train top athletes instead of providing sport facilities that everyone can use. Do you think it is a negative or positive development? m5jQ1
Today, with the huge revenues and benefits from international sports competitions, it has made the government decide to invest large amounts of money in facilities for professional coaches instead of sports. public. While I agree that this trend has a significant positive impact, I believe that in the long run the negative aspects will become even more apparent. Investing in sports facilities creates opportunities for professional coaches with the potential to reap significant rewards. Equipped with these sports facilities helps the training of the coaches to be more organized and quality. Therefore, this gradually becomes the trend of some countries, especially Asia. Vietnam as a typical example, in recent years, with great investment has brought the success of athletes, notably football has brought home many prestigious awards, economic benefits for the home country as well as the country's reputation. On the other hand, I believe this trend has a direct impact on public health and finances. Investing in facilities for athletes can be financially distressing when the costs of machinery and equipment are too expensive. Not only that, investing in sports that few people attend can waste the budget. Besides, ignoring public sports facilities can lead to a lot of discontent among the population as they are taxpayers to the state every year to enjoy these benefits. Investing in public sports activities will help people with limited economic resources and busy people have the opportunity to exercise and stay healthy. Therefore, if the government keeps chasing the other trend blindly, the people who suffer are their own people. In conclusion, I believe that it is necessary for the investment in facilities for professional athletes and public sports activities to maintain harmony and accordingly they will be the need of the day. After all, it is all about how we balance the budget accordingly.
