Scientists have had a variety of effects on the globe. The influence and accomplishments of Sir William, known as the "Father of Modern Medicine, " had a major impact on the medical profession. First of all, William entered the medical community at a period when scientific knowledge and experimental methods were just starting to be incorporated into medical practice and instruction. In 1872, he made the blood platelet revelation. In Sanderson's lab, he has done multiple investigations on white blood cells. He conducted a precise exploration after noticing colorless masses that were neither white nor red cells, which led to one of the earliest identifications of blood platelets. Also, He played an important role in reforming medical education as well. He improved the practicality of medical training. For example, the 4th year students work in hospital wards, and the third-year students work in outpatient clinics, both of which assist the students to gain experience and become highly qualified more quickly. He also authored the most widely used medical textbook of the period. In 1892, he released his first book “The Principles, and Practices of Medicine”. William’s textbook was clear, thorough, and fascinating. It immediately became the most popular medical textbook of its day and is still in print today.
