About Hippocrates
He was born in (c. 460 BCE, island of Cos, Greece-died c. 375 BCE, Larissa, Thessaly). He was a Greek physician who was known as (the father of medicine. About 60 medical book bearing his name have survived though most of which he did not write. In addition, assessing his specific medicine has not been easy in the fate of centuries of reverence for him as the ideal physician.

It is an ethical code that has been adapted by him as a guide to conduct in the medical profession, and to this day, it is still used in the graduation ceremonies of medical school.
