Researchers say that majority of criminal commit crime again after being released from jails. In a way,'prisons have become the University of crime'. Do you agree or disagree with the given notion?

Prisons were established with the aim of reformation in the character of a person, who has committed some crime, intentionally or inadverentently. However, now jails have lost their original purpose and somehow have become so called"the University of crime". personally, I do not agree with the given notion and I have myriad of views surrounding my opinion. It is commonly seen that a person who has served any jail term, often gets accustomed with the internal atmosphere of the jails and lose the fear of being prisoned, due to this leniency and lake of strictness inside. He /she get the company of some kind of people inside, which makes him or her feel better to stay inside the also this system is causing problem in this context, small offender is tortured and bullied so brutally that he or she does not feel any remorse to commit crime again after being released. In addition, government can also being cited responsible for this problem. there is no designed employment policy for criminals which coax them to indulge in crimes for bread winning. At the same time society can also be held accountable. It is usually seen that society tags a criminal to be criminal forever, which leaves no scope of improvement in the person. In the nutshell, the problem of criminals recommeting crimesis is taking whole new dimension with the time, hence some curative measures should be applied. In my opinion, cctv cameras should be installed in prison in order to keep a hawk eye inside the jails and to put in check on any anti social activities. at the same time society should be also changed it mind-set towards sach criminals. So that they can be re-established in the society with due respects. Also the criminals, habitats of committing crime should be given psychological treatment and counsellings in order to reform their character attitude.
