Some people opine that travelers ought to act based on the culture and behavioural expectations in the visiting country. Personally, I mostly disagree with this assertion. However tourists should respect the host country customs, it does not necessarily imply that these customs should be adapted by them.
Presumably, making travelers to obey the visiting country culture not only can help to keep the local traditions alive, but also spread them through the world, for instance, in Bali many traditions and religious ceremonies are retained due to tourism and the globetrotters who have been magnetized by splendid Balinese culture.
