Furthermore, students can also improve their interpersonal and social abilities, such as confidence, problem-solving ability, team performance, etc. Besides, this period also helps young people to be aware of the worth of something, such as money, and also to understand how difficult to earn it. On the other side, some people believe that taking a gap year for a job is a waste of time and causes youngers to lose learning motivation, concentration, and learning abilities compared to the others who start university right away. This can be alarming when they continue to focus on their employment for an extended period, they will be unable to attend a reputable college. Moreover, young people may modify their minds after they develop money-making behaviors. Additionally, eighteen or nineteen years old are not mature enough in terms of awareness, consequently teenagers may become embroiled in societal evils such as gambling, drug addiction, and other such activities.
