This essay agrees with that suggestion completely because of the negative effects they bring to the pupils. Firstly, we will discuss how such sites are wasting time of an individual then we will look at how they are making people more secluded. With the current internet boom and upgrade of mobile technology, social media have created a vital place in our life. On every step of the way people upload their pictures, update their location and personal information. These information’s are misused by the organization such as Facebook. Even though data privacy is promised, still data is shared and analyzed, this leads to data leak. For example, In 2019 the spot light was on facebook for sharing profile information with an analysis company name Data Analytic, which resulted in data leak of around 2 million user. Moreover, there are many reasons to believe that social networking sites have made people secluded. Firstly, everyone are now comfortable with chatting over the site, which have reduced the face-to-face interaction. This behavior have also affected the society. For example, people are not mingling with their neighbor, many avoids the social gathering, etc. Furthermore, people are becoming more jealous with the other people life they fill depressed and regrets about their own life style. For an instance, a husband and wife had divorces just because husband thoughts were inspired by the someone’s life style. In conclusion, For the betterment of the individual and society people should restrict their use of social networking site and should focus on the real life.
