My Journey of Learning Japanese
My Journey of Learning Japanese GDxym
I am not a native speaker for English as well as Japanese. So I did have a lot of difficulties in learning Japanese that I had whilst learnig English. I remember clearly the day I started learning Japanese. A someone who is motivated to learn Japanese to study abroad there. When I started learning Japanese, most of the things went smoothly. But when it comes to speaking, I was afraid that I would make mistakes and embarass myself which was the same problem I had when I was learning English. I tried to improve my communication skills in Japanese days after days but it didn't seem to have improved. I was a bit depressed for a while but I asked for help from my teacher. Fortunately, my teacher had the exact problem when she learned Japanese. I took advices from her which really helped me even to this day and the tips she gave me was 1. Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes and it not really a shame if you know how you can take advantage of that situation. If you look into the parts you are doing bad and pratice on that part, eventually, you will improve and be fluent in no time but that won't be possible without motivation or dedication, which plays a big role in learning not only Japanese but just about everything. That tip alone helped me a lot and made me who I am today. In conclusion, if you lack motivation or dedication, you will definitely fail at learning things but if you have the will to make something happen, then, nothing is impossible.
