I've encountered a paranormal experience when I was young. I was on a trip to Thailand with my family. We were going on a road trip with our relative's car from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. We got caught up with exploring many new places and the sun was setting before we knew it. We had to find a nearby hotel before it gets dark. Thankfully, we found a decent looking place to spend the night. Next, we decided to rest for the night. I was getting comfortable on the bed while I heard a distant knock. I dismissed it because the hotel was in the middle of the forest and it could've been just a wild animal. After we left in the morning, I heard news that there used to be a murder case 3 years ago at that hotel. I was pretty shocked to find out that knock might not be from an animal after all. We've decided not to travel without finding a hotel next time
