Letter to the Peter C. Herman j12pw
Dear Peter,
As per your opinion, this article illustrated some technology advocates consider online teaching to be the best alternative for students, but students vociferously disagree (Peter C, 2020). This essay argues why online learning is bad in students’ opinion and why is well Based on Tal Frankfurt's opinion and politicians like Jeb Bush. I think the two most serious are, the advantages and the disadvantages of online learning for me as a student.
In my view, virtual learning reduces time, space and money consumption; for example, as mentioned we can save the time and money of transportation to university and college, in addition, this issue has an advantage for the government and institution directors that is saving space in a city and the cost of water, electricity etc. So I agree with this point that the author makes because we have access to lesson resources anywhere and anytime.
However, the online format of teaching has a lot of disadvantages, as have also been mentioned by students and by you Because of that, I agree wholeheartedly and want to learn in person. For instance, we should pay the same cost of university and college whereas we already pay the cost of internet for online learning and we don’t use the monetary equipment of the institution and this is unfair, likewise, the quality of online versus face-to-face education is extremely less, because the eye contact with classmates and the professors make learning much effectively. Moreover, when we use devices for learning many interesting distractions distract us.
Therefore, let me conclude this issue that learning online has more disadvantages, as a student, I ask the institutions please don’t make online all of the learning for back to effective learning for following the mentions reason; just make online it 30% because as I said we can save our time and money for the classes that can be performed online and we don’t need to come to college and university.
Sincerely,
