LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION Dear Admissions Committee of Global Korea Scholarship, It’s a great pleasure to recommend Nguyen Le Vinh Nguyen to your prestigious program. In grade 12, I was his Chemistry teacher and form teacher at Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted. Given a year working with him, he has displayed both academic ability and personal traits required for the Media and Communications major and study aboard in Korea. Nguyen's bright attitude is one of his distinguishing features. He is always the considerate student who will listen to other classmates' concerns. He is the first kid to wish a friend a "Happy Birthday, " and the last student to leave the classroom to check for litter on the floor. His warm character is priceless. Furthermore, he is a people person who participates in several extracurricular activities at our school. I knew he was a member of the Psychology Club and the Environmental Club. I saw him around the schoolyard many times, either hosting a mini-game or shooting photos. I believe his lively, pleasant, and good-natured personality will fit a career in journalism or content production. Regarding intellectual ability, Nguyen ranked second out of 23 students in our class, with a 9. 5 CGPA. Despite being a Chemistry-major student, he participated in the Geography team of our school. He achieved significant achievements, including a Third Prize in National Excellence Competition, two First Prizes in Municipal Excellence Competition, and a Gold Medal in the April 30th Traditional Contest. He was unsuccessful in the 2021 National Excellence Competition, yet he was not depressed for too long and won Second Prize in Municipal Excellence Competition at Chemistry, which was remarkable not only to me but also to his classmates. I was also impressed by his attitude toward studying. He was never late for school and was only absent once during the school year due to illness, frequently interacting with teachers and asking pertinent questions about the lectures. He completed all tasks on time, created sample mock tests with no grammatical or typographical problems, and jot down notes to remember everything. To summarize, I believe Nguyen is an altruistic, intelligent, and self-disciplined person who will be worth your awards and has my highest recommendation.
