Juveniles should be charged as adults in criminal justice system. Do you agree or disagree?

Murders, rapes and heinous crimes are increasingly commited by the youth under 18. As a result, it is believed that juveniles should be accorded as adults without any preferential treatments. In my opion, I totally disagree with this statement because of the following reasons. On the one hand, teenagers are considered to be weak both mentally and physically. If they are charged as over 18 year-old grow-up, they will almost probably sent to adult facility which they are not able to handle it and as a result, this could further damage them. In addition, they might be physically and sexually assaulted by adults who are highly dangerous because they are too weak to defend themselves. The violence then might be glued to their mind and the ability of committing severe crimes again in the future is at a high rate. On the other hand, treating juveniles as those of adults could probably damage their future because of criminal records. Juvenile records usually are not treated as weight as those of adults, however having them as adult criminal records, regardless the fact that the crime are committed when they were juveniles, will follow them throughout life. This could prevent those of juveniles from having a fresh start even when they make necessary changes. Moreover, being isolated because of criminal records encourages them lose their sense of hope which might ravage both the whole life of the youth and society. In conclusion, I believe that instead of letting juveniles rot in prisons as adults for their criminal actions, it should be focused on rehabilitating the young people and keep them from committing these crimes again.
