Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? In the past, young people depended too much on their parents to make decisions for them; today young people are better able to make decisions about their own lives. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Decision making is a significant human's lifestyle's ability. Although some people declare that the new generations uses parents help more than people in the past time I personally think youth are making decisions themselves. Two reasons that vindicate my point of view are discussed below. A lot of information around the world in many fields feeds young people for better decision making. People use their receiving information to decide about lifestyle demands. In other words, youth are making decisions on their assets which have been given to them from around the world. For instance, The internet is full of data about anything in any area. With Regard to research in technology management journal in 2019, 70 percent of people are using the internet. Engaging with this giant technological platform makes people know more about the variable areas of their life, especially the young people who are using the internet more than older people. Furthermore, making decisions duo to information that comes from using the internet or other sources such as books, newspapers, classes, courses in any detailed area and so on. So, in my idea, young people now are more able to make decisions than they made in the past time. Nowadays, because of the vast living models (lifestyle) that are used by youth around the world, decision making is harder than in the past time. The situation is now not obvious in comparison with the past. Then parents may not know what way is better for their children. Consider a person who is studying in medical school and has not decided about his or her career in the future. The person now can choose between many positions such as working in a genetic laboratory, microbiology laboratory and so on. The parents may not be experts in any of those areas. So the person makes decisions considering own experience and study. In the past time, young people had not many alternatives than nowadays. Then parents had seen the situation more obvious than present time and used to interfere in youth's life. In conclusion, nowadays people are more able to make decisions by themselves. Decision making is coming from more information and It is more complicated rather than in the past. Although, making decisions by own abilities is reasonable, in my point of view, using parents and old people consultant is a notable consideration.
