In many countries nowadays, young single people no longer stay with their parents until they are married, but leave to study or work somewhere else. Do you think this trend has more advantages or disadvantages? 52WGQ
In today’s world, It is no longer necessary for the unmarried younger generation to live under the same roof with their parents. Instead, they move out of the family home and start a truly independent life somewhere else. From my perspective, while there are drawbacks to this trend, I would argue that the advantages more than compensate for any disadvantages. On the one hand, there are some obstacles for adolescents who have the little life experience to overcome while beginning a new life. First, many individuals, particularly parents, think that their children are incapable of self-sufficiency and will confront challenges in life. They are afraid that their cherished children would surrender to life's temptations and fall into bad ways. Furthermore, when young people are in their wildest ages and refuse to be handled by anyone. As a result, they desire to do anything, even unethical acts, to express themselves. To demonstrate this view, the fact that the rate of teenage delinquency is rising day by day. The second downside of this trend is that when young people have to start their own lives and move away from their families because they have to attend university or work, they frequently experience feelings of loneliness and isolation when they are not close to their families. One thing is easy to realize that the challenges they must deal with are rising, such as balancing school and job time, paying for living expenses, and so on. The quality of their work might suffer as a result. Finally, this tendency raises concerns for the environment. The more people move out to live on their own, the higher the demand for housing. As a consequence, investors will take a variety of steps to expand the real estate company in order to accommodate today's demand. Therefore, the percentage of forest cover is decreasing to make room for buildings and apartments. On the other hand, I feel that the benefits outweigh any potential drawbacks. The first argument is that a self-sufficient lifestyle allows young people to become more autonomous. Indeed, real-world experience is the most effective way to teach a person how to deal with unforeseen situations and fully relish the purpose of life. Almost all skills such as survival skills, life skills, or problem-solving, are not taught at school, so force young people to learn and accumulate them. Furthermore, independent living necessitates young people to learn self-serving skills such as cooking and housework. For this reason, they will be able to take care of themselves as well as others, which is a premise for starting married life. Second, It can ease the strain on the family when the youths can self-sustain their finances by working part-time, for example. Instead, their parents can spend more time enjoying life or be concerned more with other kids. Moreover, people frequently mention how mastering finances will assist youngsters in better understanding the value of money. Therefore, young people are enabled to learn how to save and amass funds for their future families. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, young people may contribute to the family's income after their lives have settled. They can, for example, look after their parents, provide a better life for them, retire early, travel, and so forth. This is undoubtedly the most important assignment for young individuals since it acts as a way of assessing everyone's maturity. In conclusion, I would argue that there are more positive effects than obstacles when the trend of young people getting out of the arms of their parents early to start an independent life becomes prevalent.
