Many people prefer to use public transportation while others say that personal cars are the best mode of transportation. Excessive use of private cars is considered to be the main reason for the traffic jam in many cities and that's why the use of public transportation is encouraged. In your opinion what are the pros and cons of using public transport?

In recent years, mass transit is widely used all over the world. A lot of people tend to use public transportation to travel to work and return home, but other people say that private cars are the best type of transportation. Moreover, using personal cars can cause traffic congestion or air pollution and that is the reason why people should use public transportation. I am going to elaborate on gains and losses about using public transport, and I will explain why I believe the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. To begin with the positive sides of mass transportation, it can reduce a large amount of smoke compared to private vehicles. For example, a bus can take about 40 people so the number of vehicles on the road reduces dramatically. The more people use public transportation, the better the quality of air is. Furthermore, it’s very easy to take a bus or a train via the Internet because public transport is very ubiquitous now, and the fee when people use buses is much cheaper than personal cars. Nevertheless, using public transport also brings about its own set of drawbacks. Buses and trains are unreliable, especially in Vietnam. For instance, people need to get to their company or schools in the morning, but they feel anxious because the bus is late or does not arrive and they are late. In conclusion, citizens should use public transport frequently because it has a positive impact on our environment and ticket fees are reasonable. However, sometimes buses or trains make us worried because it's late. But in general, using mass transit has more benefits than drawbacks.
