The life cycle of the silkworm has four primary stages, beginning with the laying of eggs by the silk moth and ending with the formation of the cocoon. similarly, silk cloth production also has different phases which begin with the selection of cocoons and end with the dying process. The life cycle begins when moths lay eggs. after ten days, the eggs hatch, and silkworm larva emerge. the lava feed on mulberry leaves. then after 4 to 6 weeks, the lava is covered in silk thread, and it takes between three and eight days for a full cocoon to be produced To produce silk cloth, suitable cocoons are selected. they are subsequently boiled in water and then the threads are unwound. the threads could be between 300 and 900 meters in length.
