o Well, there are all type of sellers including aged, adult and younger and mostly they are local from Lindsay.
o Well, most of vendors coming from around Lindsay and some other people coming from other region such as Newcastle, Oshawa, Monarch Road, Kawartha Lake, Riverwood Park and many more.
o In the Farmer’s market different items are sold.
• Fruits- apples, oranges, Canadian mallet, blueberries, Peaches & Nectarines, Strawberries, Banana, Watermelons and so on.
• Vegetables- Tomatoes, Cabbage, Cauliflower, squash, spices (capsicum, green chilli, ginger, garlic), onions, Parsley, lettuce, potatoes, beet roots, green beans, pumpkin, sweet corn, cowpea.
• Handicraft- candles, pottery, knitted items, handmade jewellery, sewn items, crocheted items, plant labels, door hangers, hand-made chopping pads.
• Herbs- Basil, Cilantro, oregano, parsley, lavender, marsh- mallow, chaga mushroom.
• Honey and honey-based products
• Maple syrup
• Animal based food- beef, chicken, pork, meat
• Animal based products- sheep wool
• Different types of pies
• Cheese
• Tea
• Baked items such as cookies, muffins.

o To be honest, any of them don’t claim that they have organic products.
ii. Who are the people that are buying at the farmers market that you attended? For example, were they mostly young, middle aged, families, old, ethnic diversity etc. (demographics).
o Well, all kind of folks were roaming there to buy and taste the items.
iii. What do you think you would need to consider if you were to be a successful vendor at the farmers market?
o Honestly, beginning a stall in a Farmer’s Market is really a tough task but by providing different varieties according to the customers’ demands, I would make it easy and find my feet in this business.
o Also I would focus on the quality of my goods.
o By greeting and appreciating the customers, I would catch the eyes of other consumers too which would be helpful to spread my business.
o Apart from this, I would always follow the rules and regulations of the Market by which I would be able to sustain my sale.
o Moreover, I would create a website to introduce my upcoming products and offers which I would give to my customers on some special occasions.
o Mainly, I would be kind, respectful, honest and attentive to the consumers as these are the precious factors to be a successful business woman.
