Edward Jenner is an English surgeon and The Discoverer of vaccination od smallpox. In his youth, Edward was apprenticed to a nearby surgeon. In the following eight years, Jenner acquired a sound of knowledge of medical and surgical practice. On completing of his apprenticeship, he went to London. And became a house pupil of John Hunter, who was a brilliant surgeon in London at the time. After that, smallpox was spreaded in the 18th century. And resulted in a very high death rate. Meanwhile, Jenner recognized that the person who has suffered an attack of cowpox, could not take the smallpox. Jenner concluded that cowpox, not only protected against smallpox, but could be transfered from one person to another as form of protection. By using cowpox in inoculations, Jenner was able to prevent people from catching smallpox. After that he named the process vaccination. Finally, in my opinion he is the most brilliant surgeon in the world and has been a great asset to the human health.
