Death penalty our lives less secure

Capital punishment is one of the oldest penalties used in societies over history, some people believe it is essential to prevent crime others disagree, I think that execution is essential. Crimes are serious problem in every country there must be a punishment to eradicate it but there is debate over the severity of punishment. A number of individuals thinks that capital penalty crucial for the safety of society as it is increase fear among person with evil incentives for example such a law may prevent a murder from happening by significantly frightening the criminal. Also, if a horrible felony occur such as terrorist attack in this case the only acceptable punishment to those terrorist is execution as the public will never satisfy and won’t feel safe again with those criminal left alive. On the other hand, some people have another opinion which is lenient penalty is better and society could be safe without it, they think that life sentence is a good replacement of death penalty, the reason behind this opinion is they don’t like the idea of killing a human being even if he was a criminal. In addition some may think this gives an opportunity to discover if there was an unfairness in the judgement and maybe safe a life of an innocent prisoner. In my opinion, I totally agree with the first group of people saying that death penalty is crucial for society safety as I think many felonies will be prevented in the presence of such a hard punishment.
