The maps show the growth which took place in a rural district of Tashkent City, namely Sergeli between 1970 and 2000. In general, it appears that, Sergeli City became a much more modern city, with far more factories and skyscrapers from rural area. One interesting change is that station was widened from the west to the east. In 1970, car park was located in the western side of Main Street. But after three decades farmhouse was demolished and trees were cut down to make way for car park and factories There were also noticeable changes to near the Lake Street. Boat House was converted into sport centre and size of this building was enlarged during thirty years. The green area, with lots of trees, however some of them were chopped down and new apartments. Instead of location of trees, Wellington Road was expanded. Port and school remained the same place.
