In this bar chart, we can see the divorce rates between two European countries, which are Finland and Sweden. This bar chart shows the data from 2011 to 2015 and we can see some rapid differences in 2012 and similar data in 2014 and 2015. In 2011 the difference between Finland and Sweden was approximately 10% and Sweden had a greater percentage, following the next year the gap grew to 17%. In those two years, Finland went down by 2% while Sweden went up by 5%.
In 2013 the divorce percentage of Sweden had a minor change of 2% downwards, while Finland was catching up to Sweden having a 4% increase. The same changes happened the following year in 2014. However, in 2015 Finland outpaced Sweden for the first time during those five years. In that year, Finland didn’t have a huge change, it was Sweden who had a massive downward progression making the difference of 5% with Finland in the lead.
