In today's competitive age where, countries around the globe are investing astronomically in exploring outerspace, However in sharp contrast there are millions who are deprived of fundamental needs. Hence, one school of thought advocates spending on public services, while others endorse exploring outerspace. This essay discusses both the sides of the argument, are a logical conclusion is evolved.
Analysis of former group reveals that budgeting outerspace is crucial for the development of space science, in recent past, possibility of experimental life is successfully explored with the development

However, although exploring outerspace could be a boost to space science, there are millions who are starving, in such a scenario prioritising space science lame. For example, the countries like Latin America, African countries, Zimbabwe etc are the epitome of such cases.
Another argument that supports public services is that healthcar facilities need considerable budget of the government in order to curtail mortality and mobility rates. To quote an example, every seven minutes one person dies in the world because of Tuberculosis, which is a curable disease, which is a parragone of such case. Lastly, transportation, infrastructure, defence, electricity and fresh water are the public services that improves the quality of life of the citizens, owing to such reasons public services should be expended enormously.
On the close scrutiny, I conclude that funding space exploration on the pretext of development is not acceptable where basic needs are not fulfilled.
