A students high school degree demostrate mostly the career path he/she shall be choosen in universities. its a best way of determining the path that each student passionate about. But after completing of high school it is essential to work or travel before commencing the university studies. There are advantages and disadvantages for choosing to work or travel.
Since the university life is almost four to five years time, it shall be some of the most difficult time that each student has to overcome. Most of the universities has an admission fee and tution fee which must be paid at the time of recruting. Therefore it is essential to save money whenever a student can. it is the best way to earn the tution fee by working part time or full time before starting your university studies. There are more advantages by working part time or full time before commencing the university studies, where each indiviual can adjust the different work cultures and get to know of good friends. Moreover I believe its also a best way to gain experience and sense the hardwork when you have to thrive against all odds. The motivation we are gaining by working is very essential and it is needed even after univiersity studies.
There are disadvantages too, the time being realx is reduced. Mentally the work stress will be continious and it may affect your health if its not managed correctly. Therefore Travelling to another country is also a good decision when spending leasure time with your friends. it teaches us to blend in different cultures and meet new friends. But i believe there are disadvantages when travelling to another country, since the university fee and fee for air tickets are considerbly high the student has to rethink whether it is really nessecery to spend huge amount of money. Another disadvantage is the rythem of studing techniques may and materials will fade away since its not practiced every day.
Therefore in conclusion it i believe getting a job and gaining experience is the best way to spend the time before commencing the universty studies.
